Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the Home Automation application (“the app”) at automation.sanderron.de, operated by Sander Ronde (“the operator”).

Acceptance

By accessing or using this deployment, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Private service

The app is a personal, self-hosted home automation system. It is provided for authorized users only. The operator may restrict, suspend, or revoke access at any time without notice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to use
• Interfere with the operation or security of the server
• Use the app for unlawful purposes
• Reverse-engineer or abuse integrated third-party services

Google APIs

If you connect a Google account, your use of Google data through the app is also subject to Google’s terms and the Google API Services User Data Policy. The app’s use of Google user data is limited to providing the features you enable.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Home automation actions (lighting, heating, locks, etc.) may affect your physical environment; you use the app at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including device malfunction, data loss, or property damage.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
